Its been a long week, but the bathroom is now coming on well. We are making some good progress and starting to see results.
I have so far, done my first ever plastering and im happy to say it turned out ok, I have boarded up the new ceiling. The plasterer is coming tommorrow, and is only charging £70 which I am so chuffed about.
Today, I attempted to remove the old radiator, I closed the valves, and attempted to remove the 2 large nuts holding the radiator to the pipes. Unfortunately couldn’t get a purchase on them and the pipes kept moving underneath, and then started to drip. I panicked and rather than continue and cause more problems I called a plumber friend of ours, who came straight round, and proceeded to embarras me. All he did was tighten one nut and the drip stopped. Then he undid the other Nuts as though they wernt tightened at all. Job done, radiator off. cheers Chris.
I recently started to use a site called squidoo.com. squidoo.com is a great place to share information, you can talk about anything and everything, their motto is “Everyone is an expert on Something”
Not only do you get to talk about anything you like, but you can also make money from this site, some poeple are making a lot of money. They do this becuase once you have created a Lens (A Lens is your page of information) there are Adsense adverts on your page, and you get a share of the income. There are also modules you can add, like the Amazon module or ebay module, which shows relevant products from both of these sites, and agian you get revenue share.

Found this today, looks like Nintendo have some good plans for the Wii Fit Balance Board. Lets hope this isnt the last game we see developed, I can see so much potential for the board.
It’s Saturday, the first day for 2 weeks, that I have had a chance to get a bit of a lie in. And then, at 08:00 the noise starts.
It looks like our neighbour is having their stairlift fitted. Now in itself this isnt a problem, they obviosly need it, but 8 o’clock in the morning, drilling into our adjoining wall, and I can seet his going on all day.
To say I am annoyed is an understatement. But I don’t feel I can say anything to them, cus they are a nice couple and they are old.
Just have to grin an bare it I suppose, the good old fashioned British way. It’s what makes this country great :S
After many hours of fantastic gameplay, I have finally reached the end of Super Mario Galaxy.
I have one galaxy left to complete, Luigis Purple Coins on Toy Time Galaxy.
I have had a few attempts at this level so far and it is priobing to be the most difficult of all.
Not only have you got platforms that dissapear or flip when you walk on them, you only have 3 minutes to collect 100 coins, and when you have the 100th coin, the star appears back at the beggining. so if you have walked on all of the dissapearing floors at the start, you are stuffed.
Oh well, heres to a major night of gameplay to get rid of this crazy, awesome game once and for all. I can then start concentrating on GTA IV properly.
